My frames from first Ottoman capital "Edirne"

Hello you guys! As you know I love traveling and share my photos from place that I visit. Today I will share some of my frames from Edirne city.

Edirne is the first capital city of Ottoman empire. And located now in the Turkish-Greek border! Edirne is very cute city actually I really liked. Small but rich about historical spot. Like Selimiye Mosque (Ordered to build by Ottoman Sultan Selim II in 1569-1575) This mosque is master piece of architect Sinan.

This mosque is centered in the middle of Edirne city. It starts to be seen from about 1 miles from city entrance from Istanbul side. The mosque has 4 minarets and 43.28 meter high dome. Dome diameter is 31.30 meter!

City has many visitors from all over Turkey. It is only 239 kilometers from Istanbul. Worth to visit. Here are my other frames from different mosques.
