Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

I went to sleep under the usual late hour last night, this is happening because of all these early morning work shifts recently, and so I have adapted to this routine. Still I went to sleep later than I wanted because I was catching-up and making plans to meet out with friends later this week. A good opportunity while my other friends are on holiday. Falling asleep was not a problem with the night being a milder one, I was tired from the early morning shifts. The weather this morning was bright, the sky was a cloudy blue, there was plenty of sun shine, temperature wise it was just about comfortable. The heating as been on less lately, meaning I'm saving a bit but it still costs too much and so you just see the money burning itself away. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, this happens now when I'm off from work. I think I did get too hot during the night but it was not enough to disturb me from what I know, there was no annoying cold after getting up. This morning it was difficult to get out of bed, but only because I wanted to get more rest after missing out during the week. With a late start I was glad I didn't have work to be in for today, but more so I could rest, which means that this was a good opportunity to get on with some chores and other things. There was no plans to meet up with friends later because I was discussing with them last night that later in the week it would more likely suit us both, even if we are both working on that day argh. I still want to continue with the kitchen at some point, fighting some of the mold that tries to settle on the walls. I finally got all the pictures out of my phone and on the computer, this is incase the battery in it stops working. I deleted all the pictures I didn't like but now that they are on the computer I need to organise them a bit, and so that will be another job for different day. I done some more prep for the next online get together which should be happening tomorrow. I want to try and get one of those small work-outs done but had no chance of that if I wanted to get the rest needed. After I went for dinner and lastly I started to prepare to settle in for the night. The TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers part of the condenser project to fix the wrong display numbers. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. We should of kept the TRX wallet functional, if you agree you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Hope you have a good day or night and I will see you on the next Steemit post.

Today's Picture

This photo was taken during a work day where the superiors were nice enough to provide us with some treats.
In this case we have ourselves what I think might be those famous Mr Kipling made mini cakes, I believe these are called "French Fancies".

"Exceedingly good" I think is the motto here, and I admit that for these French Fancies they are not wrong going by such a motto, they are delicious!

In this particular photo we take a top view on this mini cake, which I feel makes the bump at the top "which normally holds some delicious cream" to look flatter and rounder.

However I'm sad to report that at least for me personally, from what I have heard from friends, and from articles I have read, other have also noticed and agreed that they are not what they used to be.

But there used to be a time when biting into these was a heavenly creamy like flavour of smoothness, these days it's turned more into a slightly sharper and sweeter taste.
I'm sure for some people they will still love it but I admit I prefer the older recipe from a few years back.

Regardless for a work treat this was wonderful, plus at the time they were still how I prefer them with the older recipe.
