Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

I went to sleep nicely under the usual late hour, if I managed just 10 minutes earlier it would of been the perfect time, this happened because I was simply tired from the previous 3 days. I was running on about 4 to 3 hours of sleep due to work shifts being so early. So mostly because of work but also the scenes of seeing a lone officer outside tackling with a man and then arresting him just outside your house at night is a little unsettling. But some would of course say that's debatable as seeing someone get arrested means something is being done. Falling asleep unlike the previous nights was not a problem, it was the cold that was still a little bothersome. The weather this morning like yesterday as expected was dark, cloudy and miserable looking but just slightly lighter from yesterday. There as been no rain which as honestly really surprised me but I'm sure all that is coming. I woke-up again nearly 2 hours before my scheduled alarm, I hope to stop waking up 1 or even 2 hours prior to my alarm which as been happening since my father was here visiting, but I still got satisfactory sleep. I have been resting for way past the alarm lately, this is likely because of the cold but this morning was on purpose to catch up on the much needed sleep. With a late start I was sure glad I didn't have work to be in for today as I really needed to rest, which means this was a good opportunity to get some chores and things done. As you know I have been wanting to try for some more Steem lately, but unfortunately I had been dealing with mostly the same problems from before. But the other day I finally got some responses from the sellers who apparently for the moment they are not able to make certain trades due to some liquation issues. This was their reason for their terrible service lately, but at least I got a response and even got them to tell me when they expect to be running again. They told me it was estimated in about 1 week and I should be able to trade with them. I waited another week, made a trade, but I was lucky due to only a word of honour and past trading to secure the deal. They are still having the same issues so I will try again this week coming and hope for a better service. But for today I was meeting with friends for the first time after the event weekend and the nonsense that happened at the restaurant. I wanted to get more done but time quickly caught up for when I had to leave, heading to my friends I expected the weather to be much worse but thankfully it was mostly fine. I had a good time and was not surprised the topic of what happened at the weekend arose and I was sad but not shocked to hear that what had happened as caused some mental affects. However I sadly think it's a good lesson and wake-up call to the dangers out there. Those who live in paradise continue to until something knocks them out. Being with friends made me very tired to which I'm sure I will sleep well tonight. On the way back it got much colder and I couldn't wait to get home and warm. I wanted to go for one of those quick workouts but felt too tired think it's now been 9 days since one was one. When for dinner, it was too late to check in with my father and so started to prepare to settle for the night. Also I was disappointed to learn that without warning our TRX wallets on Steemit.com had just disappeared, and this was a long with all the funds I had in there. I learnt later that the TRX distribution code has been removed from the wallet by the Steemit developers. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from the rewards "which I'm glad was fixed" but I think removing the TRX wallet from the SteemitWallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet as a whole. After panicking I assumed that perhaps the only way to recover the funds is to make a new tron account with TronLink and then if possible adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. This is already confirmed to work by myself and other steemians but regardless I still think we should keep the TRX wallet functional. Well this is not the type of post for such a long discussion on the topic but if you agree with me write to them here asking for the return of the TRX Wallet on Steemit TRXWallet. Today's Picture

As for the picture today I share some flower photography, a quick disclaimer I understand that this type of photography on Steemit has a bit of a bad reputation. This is because it was often used by spammers to make like 8 posts each day.
Hopefully as you can see from my blog I'm nowhere near making 8 or more posts per day on the topic of flower imagery.

This was captured on the way to work, just before the first actual road crossing and around this time the weather was starting to get better. Photographed in the very early morning and so for the time it would still be icy. In this particular photo even going for a closer look you can see the stems better, you should be able to see more clear now that the stems are still slightly iced over. With them still being frozen and waiting for the sun to hit them we can see more to the background that many Ragworts are still sleeping.

The taller Common Ragwort get unfrozen first for various reasons and of course some likely will barely ever feel the sun.

Something that really caught my attention on this photo was to the bottom right side there are a few unfrozen leaf's and they have what looks like sparkles to them with these yellow dots. I'm not sure what these yellow dots are, perhaps it's fallen pollen or could it be parts of the the Ragwort itself. Regardless of what they are if it covered more of the leaf's I think it would give them a real magical like affect.

As we can see they are in clusters with flattened flower heads, they are a food source for many insects however they are said to contains many different alkaloids and thus making them a poisonous flower to certain animals. Strangely it seems that for a flower so common there is still much about it that is not fully understood as in some cases it's been said they can be used for medicine and that some animals are not affected by eating them.

I still believe these are indeed the Common Ragwort flower, and while this is likely what they are the plant itself however does give me some doubts. If you happen to know for sure, let me know in the comments section below, or tell me instead what it is you think they might be.
