Photography or a image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life but I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be an art-form. The beauty and meaning of photograph can be expressed and shared in many ways including "by not using any words".

While I do like photography I used to share images when I could that I captured day to day events, the feedback was mostly positive and I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos.

Almost every picture as a story to tell, or at least that is what I have often been told by some of my regular followers when I first started sharing photos on here.
To those who have often said and expressed that to me I would have to agree with them.

We are so close to New Years Eve, tomorrow actually I wonder how people feel about it this time round and will many places not be celebrating it due to covid restrictions.

I went to sleep a little earlier than usual last night for some reason I was tired for most of the day, perhaps it's because I had to get up earlier for work. But I admit it was a relatively calm shift they wanted me to stay longer but I refused but did wonder if I should of stayed for the money.
But I already had plans to meet with a friend that afternoon after getting home from work, when I did meet my friend I switched my phone off as I didn't want anymore pesky call to get in for today.

As luckily I didn't have work today, I say lucky because on my way home I chatted with a friend who as come down to visit for the new year.
I got my day's confused as I thought they were arrived this afternoon and not yesterday.

But what does annoy me slightly about all this is they said that there was no real plan for when they come down to visit and that they wanted to see me regardless of the busy schedule because they will be free.
Well there are 2 day's that I'm free and basically they have plans smack bang in the middle of both those days, further into the conversation all the other day's they also had plans, but yet they continue to tell me they have nothing planed??

It's also me that as to make the way to go and see them even if it's their idea, but this is because we are trying to save on time because they already have plans and I can't get home too late because of work.
So with the plans that they yet continue to tell me that they don't have we still had to spend a good while on the phone figuring out a plan that would fit out schedules.

It's a little disappointing as they are normally true to their word and easy to plan with but honestly I was tempted to just tell them perhaps it was best for another time but if this does happen for a 2nd time round I might just tell them I'm busy on the days they visit.

I just really hoped the weather for later wouldn't be rain as something was telling me they would be turning up late. Strangely I was right about them being late and it was annoying waiting in the cold for so long just glad it wasn't that cold as I didn't have the extra layer on, I mean at one point I wish I did but didn't think they were going to take that long.

Of course when they did arrive we had a fantastic time for the evening they even gave me some freebies which I didn't even ask for but do appreciate it after the lack of organization this time from their part.

As for steps I must stress that I'm keeping less tabs on it because it's no longer recording most of my steps properly, I would easily estimate that less than half the steps are being recorded. I'm thinking more that this is the fault of my phone rather than the app. I done a few more things on my phone with the hopes that this might solve all it's problems while it may have helped with the texting issue I don't think it's solved anything with the app. Still for today I hit a combined total of 5k out of the 105k weekly target lol.

Anyway as for the picture today I share one of my cat Daniel, which I began posting more of him slowly.
Shame really as unfortunately poor Daniel is no longer with us, he died at home with us under the best care and love we could give him.
Daniel was completely different to he's brother Toffee, he as always been a gentle soul who didn't ask for much, he mostly just wanted to be excepted and safe, he was always very shy and took what he suffered from previous humans harshly as it took a very long time for him to settle with us, shame really as I always wanted him to feel more at ease with us, to put that life behind him. It's obviously not easy as even for humans trauma sticks with us, sometimes forever.
Which actually by looking at this picture you wouldn't think he had a care in the world he looks like a sleeping baby here. As I took this photo of him sleeping comfortably with he's head on the chair's back rest I noticed it's always how I wanted him to be "comfortable and relaxed". It's also probably my favourite picture of Daniel so far that I have posted on here.
