The Rainbow Fields

I live in a fairly urban part of England, outside is a busy main road and the cars run on late into the night, but one great thing about my area is that it doesn't take long to walk and get out into nature. Which I recently did with my father and sister in tow. Especially after lockdown it was amazing to get back out into nature.

Open Sky, Open Land

These beautiful fields are near a local aerodrome and you can get a great view of the planes, when they are flying of course!

Crimson Bank

There are some amazing filters on Instagram, one I recommend is Infrared- it turns anything green into a selection of awesome colours creating some alien landscapes.

Amethyst Excursion

This one is also just so out of this world!- imagine if plants looked like this!

The Ruby-Dappled Path

This one makes me feel as though I'm in Japan seeing the beauty of the Autumn leaves.

The filter only works so far though- those eagle eyed readers can see the trees further out in their normal color, ruining the illusion!

Umber Trails

The orange looks surprisingly natural in this photo, very Autumnal and cosy.

Scarlet Safari

My father was born in Kenya and is a fan of the wildlife and nature in general, though this is a far cry from the savanna it looks like it could contain all kinds of strange animals!

Overrunning Pool

Blue is such a rare colour in nature that a whole field of it just seems so alien- I do prefer the bright red though!

Feeling Blue

I couldn't resist a sneaky selfie and I just happened to be wearing blue - looking fresh after a much needed haircut!

Tengrism

Another great horizon shot, I love the immediate contrast between the sky and the ground.

By no means am I a professional but it is fun taking these photos and applying the filters creates some interesting results. Let me know what you think in the comments and any pointers to improve would be greatly appreciated!
