Lastest Cover Shot! WooHoo!
I thought I'd share my latest cover shot on Nevada County Gold magazine. It's more of an information guide on what to do and see in Truckee, Grass Valley, and Nevada City here near Lake Tahoe in California. I'm super stoked to have this cover as it is in many newsstands around the area for one year. Picked up my copy and it looks great! Also, a few images were licensed for the inside of the publication.
The cover shot is of Paradise Lake, one of my favorite places to backpack to in the Tahoe area. It's about a 7 mile hike at high elevation so it doesn't get too busy and can be a great place to go in order to escape the summer crowds that Tahoe gets. The wildflowers that grow around the lake are beautiful this time of year. However... I haven't been there this summer yet as I've heard there is still a lot of snow up there making for a difficult hike, it was a BIG snow year. Hopefully, I'll get out there for some camping in a few weeks.
