Orangutan crab (Achaeus japonicus)

Comonly know as the orangutan crab, yes he does look like the long red haired monkey, this very cool creature is usually find in soft corals during the day for protection but at night can be walking around the reef in search of food. They are about 2 to 4 cm.

I tend to call it the "Chubaka" crab as I have never seen the monkey yet, but did watch many time the Star Wars movies.

Did you know that in Indonesian, Orang = person, and Hutan = forest. So everyone knows at leat 2 words of Indonesian !
