RE: One Pic a Day - The View from my window in the Snow! (London)

in #photography7 years ago

I have never seen the snow befofe but it looks beautiful and cold. I can only imagine with no sunlight that depression must be high at times in winter.
I love around the world where snow is deeply embedded in the fibre of human living and culture that it defines people.
Here in Australia we have snow but its not the same it is short lived and not so wide spread. I look forward to touching it, lying down and doing the snow angel, most of all seeing what it looks like covering the earth as it falls. How the trees look coverd and the sky as it showers. sure play time looks addictive. My experience of snow is documentaries, pictures like yours and movies.
I think your photos have character and are verry artistic, but tell me how do you cope travelling to work in the cold? And being confined to indoors for long periods of time? I know your seasons change but its a lot different to here.

@sanddrift - first thank you for the comment in regards to my photo and for taking the time to write here. Yes it is nice to feel the snow, especially to see it falling as it's so quite and white..
As for your question, yes it's very hard to travel to work and back, and a lot of people struggles in the last few days. A friend of mine took 3 hours to get to work. Luckily I work mostly from home, so I didn't need to travel. also I really have no problem being at home for days, I am never bored..

sorry for long time response. I figured travel would be tough. There is always plenty to do, as long as your pro active and creative, or have hobbies.
