Driftwood art
It is hard to understand how nature can make such incredible art but check out this dead tree on the beach. The colours and patterns are just breath-taking!
I wonder if at some point this tree was struck by lightning? The patterns in certain places are very like those created by electrical currents.

When I first looked at it I thought it was an eagle then as I saw the rest of the pictures I coupled see other things, very very cool 😊

A really cool find. This would look lovely on the second floor of my rancho! A little difficult to haul home, I would imagine.
It would look awesome - but it's a massive tree! They just drop into the ocean here especially in the rainy season when more get struck by lightning on an almost daily basis. The most dangerous aspect of this is that they actually float around in the sea - huge fallen trees. One has to be super careful surfing around this area. They get washed up at high tide and sit on the beach creating seating and looking amazing! haha
