Surma River (Bangla: Surma River, Romanized: Surma River, Shurma Nadi) is a major river in Bangladesh, part of the Surma-Meghna river system. It started when the Barak River from northeast India was split into the Surma and Kushiyara rivers along the Bangladesh border. It culminated in Kishoreganj district over Bhairabbazar, where two rivers re-joined the formation of the Meghna River. The water from the river eventually flows into the Bay of Bengal.

The average depth of the river is 282 ft (86 m) and the maximum depth is 550 ft (170 m).
