There are several species of deer in Bangladesh.Sambar (Cervus unicolar) is the largest and lives in the forests of Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts and Sylhet.The most beautiful and familiar species are the Chitra deer (C. axis).Their houses are mainly Sundarbans.
