The Legend good of the Sleeping Bear

thanks for vot

Would be a bit scary going into the bush in America with all the bears and stuff.. Have you ever come across one?

Where I'm at in Chicagoland area there's very little wildlife. We have some coyotes and foxes. There have been a fluke occurance once or twice of a cougar being in downtown Chicago, I guess they travel thousands of miles so occasionally you'll find one in the city once in a blue moon but very rare. if you get down into southern Illinois like 6 hours south of me I think you'll get maybe a few big cats but very rare. Up in Michigan especially northern michigan and the UP you have some wolves and bears but I've never seen them and I think its pretty rare.

If you start getting out west like Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah California they seem to have a lot more wildlife. Alaska isn't even part of the continental uSA but htey have a ton of wildlife.

My only real wildlife encounter was one time walking through a local forest preserve and comming face to face with a buck a big deer.

While I sometimes wish the midwest had a bit more exciting stuff going on in terms of scenic nature and wildlife, at the same time its kind of comforting knowing I can go camping or go out hiking without getting eaten by something lol

beautiful photography and good blog thank you for sharing.
