Tebo Regency is one of the districts in Jambi Province. This district came from the result of the division of Bungo Tebo Regency, on October 12, 1999. Al-Ittihad Great Mosque was completed and handed over from PT. Nindya Karya As the contractor for the construction of a mosque to the Public Works Office of the Tebo Regency on March 9, 2015, the construction costs reached Rp. 60 Billion Rupiah.

The interest of the Tebo Muslim community was so high to perform the Eid prayers at the Grand Mosque, the congregation from various areas of Tebo district spilled over to the mosque not only from the district capital but also by the congregation that came quite far from the Tebo Estuary. On 12-17 October 2015 the Al-Ittihad Great Mosque hosted the 45th MTQ at the Jambi provincial level. Surolangun Regency came out as the overall champion in the event.

As the regency mosque, the Al-Ittihad Great Mosque of Tebo has become the center of Islamic activities at the district level. Tebo includes the commemoration of Islamic holidays such as the celebration of the Islamic New Year, Maulid Nabi, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. the arrival of Tebo district pilgrims, which was released and welcomed by the Tebo regent in this mosque.

Agung Al-Ittihad Great Mosque, Tebo District, Jambi

The Al-Ittihad Tebo Great Mosque has a Universal Mosque architecture with a large green dome on the roof of the mosque plus four semi-domed ornaments on the four corners of the roof. There are four rectangular tower buildings in the four corners of the mosque, each of which is built separately from the main building.

This mosque building uses so many geometric shapes. on the east side of the mosque there is a large plaza area as an additional area to accommodate pilgrims when time is needed. Apart from that, the Great Mosque of Al-ittihad Tebo is also equipped with a parking area and a park that is large enough to reach 3300 square meters.
