Anybody want some Sugar with their Coffee?
Things truly look interesting when you get closer.
This is some coffee and sugar. I used long exposure time along with my external flash to light the scene from the side to highlight the textures and forms. I fired the flash multiple times during the exposure to also fill some of the shadowy areas with light.
This is a good technique for any still life photography, try it out! You can also use the LED in your phone to do the same if you don't happen to own an external flash, but you obviously need a tripod to do this.
