Largs North Ayrshire Scotland UK

This is my home town of Largs on the West Coast of Scotland UK. We have lovely walks and scenery. The weather is not always great but when the sun shines it's beautiful.

Early morning in Largs and the ferry is ready to take cars and passengers to Cumbrae. Plenty of people go without their cars. They take bikes or just to walk around the island. A bus picks you up and takes you to Millport where you can have a coffee or sit on the beach with a bag of chips (French Fries) from local the fish and chip shop.

Here is our Viking made from plants. He is no longer there this year. Every year Largs has a festival to celebrate the Battle of Largs 1263 when won against the Norwegians. Now every year we all get together with the Norwegians and others to celebrate.
