Transfagarasan: The Most Beautiful Road in the World

Transylvania....yes...Transylvania...that you all may have heard about Dracula and vampire and stuff.

Last year I had a chance to experience The Transfagarasan which is claimed by tourists around the world that it is one of the most spectacular roads in the world with breathtaking scenery.

They don't prove themselves wrong AT ALL. With the amount of swear words from my mouth, I can guarantee that it worths driving on this winding road.

At the top of the mountain you will see one of the most beautiful lake also that I feel like I was on cloud nine. (Will write about it later) The road is 90 kms long and divide northern and western Romania.

We took the BMW there with an experienced driver and we stopped every 15 mins to take photos. The Transfagarasan is 2134 meter high and has sharp turns to challenge for every driver. That is what makes it special.

However I was really lucky to visit it in autumn which usually they block the road. And I was even luckier to be able to see the sun in autumn and I got this spectacular photo.

Told you....Romania is so underrated in terms of tourism.
