My Iran Travel 2019 [ENG/DEU] - Part 3

In the third part of my trip to Iran I want to show you what I ate all this way. Iran is five times bigger than Germany and the food is regionally very different. But there are some classic foods that every Iranian knows and loves as well as, for example, the BBQ dinner also known as "kebab"

Im dritten Teil meiner Reise in den Iran möchte ich Euch zeigen was ich alles so gegessen habe. Der Iran ist fünf mal größer als Deutschland und das Essen unterscheidet sich regional sehr. Aber es sind einige Klassiker, die jeder Iraner kennt und auch liebt wie zum Beispiel die Grill Gerichte - bekannt auch als "Kebab"

There are three "kebab" species that are very popular in Iran. The skewers are either with pieces of meat, minced meat or chicken meat. The meat is either seasoned or marinaded. I ate a lot of it - it was always delicious.

Es gibt drei "Kebab" Arten, die im Iran sehr beliebt sind. Die Spieße sind entweder mit Fleischstücke, Hackfleisch oder Hänchenfleisch. Das Fleisch wird entweder gewürzt oder in Marinade eingelegt. Ich habe viel davon gegessen - es war immer sehr lecker.

The chicken meat is put into a yogurt Zafran marinade and cooked after a day on the grill. Really fantastic...

Das Hänchenfleisch wird in einer Jogurt Zafran Marinade eingelegt und nach einem Tag auf dem Grill gekocht. Wirklich fantastisch...

In Iran, rice is an integral part of the meal and it was always served with everything :-)
I also often had the pleasure of a grill plate ...

Im Iran ist der Reis ein fester Bestandteil des Essens und wird immer mit allem serviert :-)
Ich hatte auch oft das Vergnügen einer Grillplatte ...

Of course, there was not only meat to eat, vegetarians also have a lot to offer Iranian cuisine, such as an eggplant spread known to the locals as "Halim Bademjoun"

ES gab natürlich nicht nur Fleisch zu essen, auch vegetarisch kann die iranische Küche einiges bieten wie zum Beispiel ein Aubergine Aufstrich bekannt bei den Einheimischen als "Halim Bademjoun"

"Halim Bademjoun" is very refined with garlic. so nothing for vampires ;-)

"Halim Bademjoun" ist sehr stark mit Knoblauch verfeinert . also nichts für Vampire ;-)

In Iran, the restaurants are very often in a good and clean condition. They tries again and again to link the Persian culture with a modern life style - which often works very well.

Im Iran sind die Restaurants sehr oft in einem guten und sauberen Zustand. Man versucht immer wieder die persische Kultur mit einem modernen Life Style zu verknüfpen - was auch oft sehr gut gelingt.

Dining outdoors is very popular in Iran, especially in the evening when it gets cooler ...

Im freien zu speisen ist im Iran sehr beliebt, vorallem Abends wenn es kühler wird ...

Other dishes I found very delicious was once pasta with cheese cream souce and grilled lamb kilties ...

Weitere Speisen die ich sehr lecker gefunden habe waren einmal Pasta mit Käse-Sahne Souce und gegrillte Lammkottletts...

Finally, I would like to introduce you to a dessert. Everyone in Iran knows this and the kids love it. It's a kind of porridge with butter / cinnamon / sugar souce. Oh God, if I turn to it ... I want to eat it now :-)

Zum Schluß möchte ich Euch eine Süßspeise vorstellen. Jeder im Iran kennt das und die Kinder lieben es. Es ist eine Art Brei mit Butter/Zimt/Zucker Souce. Oh Gott wenn ich dran dekne ... Ich will das jetzt essen :-)

In addition to the soft drinks that we know in the world and I do not consciously call their names - there is in Iran a traditional drink that the locals call "Dough". This is a yogurt drink diluted with water and refined with herbs. In the summer it is very refreshing and it has no sugar ;-)

Neben den Softdrinks, die wir auf der Welt kennen und ich jetzt bewußt nicht ihre Namen nennen möchte - gibt ein traditioneles Getränk, das die Einheimischen "Dough" nennen. Das ist ein Jogurt Getränk verdünt mit Wasser und verfeinert mit Kräutern. Im Sommer ist das sehr erfrischend und es hat kein Zucker ;-)
