I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Here summer lasts almost all the year. This makes me hard to understand people planning for the summer. Maybe if I lived in a place like Canada where summer lasts at most three months, I could understand.
My daughter lives in Vancouver and I was there last summer. I spent one month there, rained almost every day and the maximum temperature I got was 18° Centigrades. Should I call it summer?
I suppose if you have summer yearlong it's pointless to plan for it haha!! here it' very short lived, might as well enjoy it.
We experience summer differently in each of he provinces. You experienced the coastal summer, they are cooler and rains all the time, it was the same in New- Brunswick. Here in Alberta it's like desert conditions, not much rain ,high 20's to 30's during the day and it cools to around 10 to 15 degrees at night, cooler in the Rockies, near the freezing mark(at night) some places.
