The beauty buried in Pusong Reservoir
Hello everyone..
Ten years ago! It was something exciting because we felt proud of the construction of a tourist spot in the corner of a small city inhabited by 197,339 people. Pusong Reservoir became one of the city's tourist icons that gave a new atmosphere to the citizens of Lhokseumawe and its surroundings. Stretching over an area of approximately 70 kilo meters makes this place the most appropriate for relaxation and capturing the sunset phenomenon. At a glance from a distance, the reservoir seems to merge with the shoreline and the Cunda estuary river.
But the current condition of the reservoir seems to erase our schedule to vacation and enjoy grilled corn there, yes! because its existence has been transformed into a slum and spread a pungent odor. The cages of coastal communities seem to cover most of the surface area of the reservoir which should be a comfortable place to restore a mood that is upset and stressed.
Last month when I visited with my beautiful daughter, the wooden chairs were no longer in use, nor did we see the smoke bubbles ripening fish on the fire grill, the traffic of fishermen's wooden canoes and the white egrets by the reservoir.
Unfortunately, some of the photos that corroborate the story about the negative side of this reservoir have been deleted on my smartphone. Yes, this reservoir is still active for a number of people jogging or just spending time watching fishermen, anglers and sea oyster seekers.
Sorry, this is my first post on the new interface project "Steem Atlas", it may look a little messy. I also tried to add last month's post pin here.

A little bit about this;
We didn't want to be left behind because almost all of our neighbors started to leave their houses to enjoy the new year holiday 2025! We didn't want to be their asset custodian..🤣 so my family and I decided to travel to the most beautiful natural attractions in Takengon City - Central Aceh, namely Lake Laut Tawar.
Yes! That's the most special place for us!, my wife and our children really like and enjoy the beautiful nature there.
I hope I can be for do it next time for a good post again.
