Black soldier fly is a type of fly that is often found in organic waste places. These larvae use waste as a food source.
These larvae use the waste as a food source. The ability of larvae to eat organic waste is because in their intestines there are cellulolytic bacteria that produce cellulase enzymes that play a role in cellulose hydrolysis.
