A day in Rotterdam! Adventure blog #5
Welcome Steemians, Rens here!
Today I'm (finally) back with another Adventure blog, this time I went to Rotterdam with one of my best friends @timlechner. Rotterdam is a city which is destroyed in the second world war. Rotterdam is totally rebuild, that's why it's a very new and modern city. Enjoy!
9:07 AM The train from Nieuw-Vennep station to Leiden Central leaves.
9:18 AM Arrived in Leiden, bought some breakfast and we got into the train.
After a 40 minute train ride we Arrived in Rotterdam.
Tim walking on the train platform.
This was the view I got after walking out Rotterdam Central, the weather was amazing! This will change in the course of the day :(.
After some deliberation about where we wanted to go first, we decided to catch a metro to Erasmusbrug where my dream building to live in stands.
After a 5 minute metro ride we arrived at the Erasmusbrug. Look at it!
The big building on the right of the bridge is my dream appartment. I am going to save money to pay for an appartment in this building. The view you have in that building is outstanding. An appartment costs around the 300 thousand euros.
When we walked over the bridge we saw a chill spot on the side of the bridge. We decided to take a look and against our expactation it was very clean and it had a great view!
When we arrived across the river we decided to have a drink on a terrace. It had great service, cold drink and a great view. All I need! We moved to a small park where we took some photos of Rotterdam.
Here you already see that the clous turned grey. Despite that I think it's a great photo.
This picture is made by Tim, shoutout!
I love this picture, setting, building and bridge.
At this point we decided to make a timelapse because we knew we were screwed already. It will start raining in 15 minutes or so. The only problem was is that we didn't had any shelter! This is the result of the timelapse!
After this we searched as fast as we can for an shelter because it was raining unbelievable hard!
I want to thank you for reading this post, I worked hard on this one and I'm proud of it.
