[Autumn's mind] - A place for the hawk.
Hi everyone !
@ancolie gave me, with one of her recent post (https://steemit.com/photography/@ancolie/moment-zen-d-automne-----2018-9-4-20-7-24), the idea to paint up the autumn, with a triptych : two photos and one strange poem. Because, yeah, it's autumn ! At least for people in the north part of the world.
I hope you'll enjoy.

Everything's gone away.
Autumn Leaves.
I'm just passing things.
An hole in the eye, and the hawk is howling.
Shapes with no meanings,
meanings with no shapes.
Trying to melt, my ice is an axe.
Lost in foreign stuff.
With a shit stick ( 乾屎橛 ), you still can paint.
Trees in a garden ; no fruits.
Shadows on the stars : a place for the hawk.

The "shit stick" mentionned in the poem above refers to a buddhist koan. A koan is a short story designed to make you realize, rather with intuition than with intellect, the "real reality" of things.
From wikipedia : "Shit stick means "a thin stake or stick used instead of toilet paper" and was a historical item of material culture introduced through Chinese Buddhism and Japanese Buddhism. A well-known example is gānshǐjué/kanshiketsu (lit. 乾屎橛 "dry shit stick") from the Chan/Zen gōng'àn/kōan in which a monk asked "What is Buddha?" and Master Yunmen/Unmon answered "A dry shit stick". Merci pour la mention @remi-c :)
