Amazing and stunning place where i haven't ever been somewhere like this before, love to come back again

Such a wonderful palace with 3 floors full of history and royal treasures!!!! You will see amazing masterpieces just to fall in love! Take your time, feel comfortable and take your Audioguide to walk around and see all that magnificent! My favourite part: the super huge rare green diamond 😍💚💎
But remember: pictures are not allowed. Nice reconstructed castle. It was severely damaged during the bombing in 1945. The expositions are very nice and if you want to see all it can take you half day. The price for the ticket is a little bit expensive.

The church is impressive. The castle per se is good, but the most impressive thing is the church. Spent most of your time at that church because it's the one most worth it. Go here to see the various museums housed within. You can get a combination ticket (from the official tourist information) that will get you into pretty much all museums in the centre of Dresden except for the Historic Green Vault for which there is an extra charge. Definitely worth getting if you intend to visit more than two of the museum buildings.

The wealth amassed in fine art objects was stunning. The Green Vault occupied us for over 2 hours enjoying the high quality audio guide to pick out the highlights. The individual pieces in the new green vault were then even more breathtaking. Get the combined ticket, do the green vault, take a break and then dive back in. The tower also worth the trek to the top allowing close examination of the cathedral next door as well as views all around.

It was so beautiful!! But unfortunately me and my friend went there during winter so the sun goes down so quickly and the weather was not so good and also so cold so I recommend people to go there during spring :)

One of most astonishing European treasuries. Perfect lighting and displays, perfectly organized exposition. Audioguides are a bit outdated from technical standpoint - local smartphone app might be a bit more convenient. Large and imposing castle; even though I haven't seen the interior the outside is clean and authentic in style. The many exhibitions which are showcased inside can easily appeal to all sorts of travellers, yet I wish more was accessible to non-paying visitors.

The Royal Palace, like many other buildings in Dresden was completely destroyed during the war. I couldn’t really imagine how massive was the destruction until my guide showed my group a picture of the destruction. She even showed a picture that was just recent on how plenty of buildings in the old city laid in rubbles. A visit to Dresden will definitely include a walk-through this major site, so take in amazement how the city have managed to restore this beautiful residence into its former splendour.
