Is the puzzle trying to figure out how to walk from one side to the other? I think I could figure that out, because if I were in this picture I'd have that strange ability to defy gravity, and walk on the bottom side of stairs, and not fall down, like the people usually have in a picture like this. With that power, walking across all the stairs is as easy as pie.
