RE: The first image with my 50mm lens | La primera imagen con mi lente 50mm
hi! 1st of all -- CONGRATULATIONS!
50mm is a great lens, perfect for doing artsy shots, I am sure a lot of great photo-pleasures are waiting for you now.
50-mm lens have some sufficient pro's.
- large aperture
- beautiful bokeh
- superior sharpness (in its working distance, 1-2 meters).
which version of the lens did you purchase, 1.8 or 1.4? .. I had both editions, and eventually changed them to the version of the lens from Sigma, 1.4.
as for your question - I do not see any difference between the photos. Moreover, I do not see that it was photographed using a 50 mm. this shot could be the result of 18-55.
a tip: no need to use a tripod! try using the "A: aperture priority" and "M: manual" modes. you can set ISO = 800, Aperture = 1.8-2.2, and shoot even in dim evening lighting. however, your photos will feature beautiful bokeh.
I bought the 1.8, and I definitely like it too much, I already have a few images that I plan to sell, (with a little luck) thanks for your advice, I will try it :)
