Through rain-streaked panes, the city sleeps,
A muted hum where traffic creeps.
But here, beneath the shadowed trees,
A different rhythm softly sways.

　The leaves, like embers, fall and float,
　On mirrored puddles, a still boat.
　Each fallen leaf, a whispered plea,
　For Autumn's fleeting beauty.

The Shake Shack sign, a beacon bright,
Warms the cool air with neon light.
A promise of warmth, a cozy treat,
A respite from the autumn heat.

　But beauty lies in the quietude,
　In the damp earth and the still wood.
　A moment's peace, a tranquil scene,
