I've had it!

I posted a loooooooooooooooooooot of looking UP pictures and… absolutely no results! I’ve had it. Really! Why don’t those invisible Crypto Gods do their job and raise the prices… I’m very disappointed right now.
So, just to have some kind of revenge… I’ll post looking DOWN pictures from now on. At least I’ll be in sync with the markets 😊

For the curious, or the ones that are not following me… or even better, for the ones that are following me but never read my posts but who, suddenly, started doing so because almost nobody else is posting right now… yes, this is what you see from the top of the famous Crypto Gods Headquarter Tower.
And no, I’m not angry… just a little bit cynical-realistic 😉

You liked this post?

Right you are 😉
Just follow me here on steemit ( @pixelfan ) to make sure you don’t miss any new work. BTW: I will not ask you to upvote… deep down inside you know you have to 😉

Curious to see my other work?

Although I spent most of my time on steemit, you can also find me in other places… just take your pick…

Congratz, your post has been resteemed and, who knows, will maybe appear in the next edition of the #dailyspotlights (Click on my face if you want to know more about me...)
Check the rules of the Daily Spotlights if you want to nominate someone!
Pixresteemer is also listed as promoter on The Steemians Directory

LOL!!! Thanks for the great laugh! I think many of us have felt your pain. I shall return to upvote this post with my meager value when my Steem power gets back to at least 80%.

OMG... a reader!!!!!!!!!! ;-)

I always try to see the funny side in things... (although it's becoming more and more difficult here :-))
Thanks for passing by!

😂👍🏻

PS Resteemed, I think during these difficult times humor is most certainly welcomed.

I feel like this is not the last time we'll get on this roller-coaster. It goes up, up, up... then down, down, down... and eventually the cycle will repeat. ;-)

I'd like to invite you to participate in my Art Curation Initiative #5

I think you made a typo...
It must be : up,up.... down,down,down,down... ;-)

Something like that... it's usually one or two months up and a long time down. I just hope the cycle repeats because that would put the next bottom around $8 per STEEM.

Are you in a hurry?

everything that goes up must go down... to get back up...
(but that cycle comes to an end at some point ;-))

I just wish people would find my post and read them, so that I thought I wasn't wasting my time. I know where your coming from ;)

But you don't know where I'm going!
(sorry, couldn't resist :-))

You are not the only one, I am also disappointment and frustrated, let us just hope for soon turn around in the price. By the way, a lovely picture

Thank you very much!

Well, that one makes me dizzy! 😵

You started it, @melinda010100 picked it up, and even I posted a few, but it just didn’t work. Maybe by looking down, we can under the price and prop it up. ;-) !tip

Ha ha. I would rather keep #lookingup.

Me too! It feels so much more positive!

@melinda010100 @kunschj
Let's divide the efforts... you continue to lookup, and I try to lookdown :-)

That sounds good to me! Whatever works.

🎁 Hi @pixelfan! You have received 0.1 SBD tip from @kunschj!

@kunschj wrote lately about: Look Both Ways! Feel free to follow @kunschj if you like it :)

Sending tips with @tipU - how to guide :)

It is disheartening to say the least. But, your photos are terrific. I love the stark perspective of the architecture pictured here.

Have you heard from anyone that they may be shutting down SteemIt? Do you know any more about it? @Molometer wrote to me that, according to @ned

Steemit.inc is working on shifting much of the content onto the rocksdb database so the work will still be there. But they want to focus on blockchain development and sunset steemit.com
There are other apps that can access the steem blockchain like busy.org etc so we really don’t need the steemit.com front end.

If this is true, I will probably just cash out and focus on my other, more mainstream blogs. My readership here has been painfully slow to grow, though even the meager payout on SteemIt is far and away better than Blogger. Still, my readership on Blogger.com (MomzillaNC.blogspot.com) is over 55K.

I use eSteem. I have never used Steemit so I won't miss them. Don't leave! There are too many other ways to connect to the blockchain and collect Steem that are so much better!

IDK if it’s worth the hassle. Steem has been losing value for most of the time I’ve been on the platform.

And it will gain value just as quickly! I wish you well with whatever your discussion is There are plenty of places to hangout that don't pay you anything!

That's indeed a possible scenario...
But don't forget that the basic idea of this whole steem-thing is... crypto. The first reason this whole thing exist is the steem blockchain. The people behind it created steemit to:

  1. attract more people to the idea of crypto money...
  2. make it easy to "gain" crypto's for as much as possible people...

But right now, with the low prices of crypto's (bitcoin especially) it becomes difficult to maintain different things, the blockchain and the "social-media" frontend. After all, they are blockchain developpers, not social-media experts...

Of course you have to be cautious... but as long as they continue to develop the blockchain I'm not really affraid. There are indeed more and more interfaces that interact with the steem blockchain. I personally use busy for a very long time already. Also look at the success of steemmonsters... that's not depending on steemit, but on the steem blockchain...
