Greetings from the Amalfi Coast | Italy at its absolute best | Pt. 1
Last summer we traveled to Naples, Italy and I couldn't resist renting a car (which couldn't be fully insured this being southern Italy:) and driving to the Amalfi coast. If you've heard people say it is unbelievably beautiful rest assured - that doesn't even begin to describe it.
Most of the time I was driving the surroundings were so impressive that it was hard to stay focused on the road ahead.
Locations like this just greet you at the side of the road:
Need a terrace? Yeah...
Incredible. As you progress down the coast you eventually encounter the infamous towns built into the cliffs - breath taking.
The beach setup unfortunately reflects the Instagram world more than the natural beauty of the place:
Nevertheless the light conditions and general atmosphere is out of this world:
Rock on Steemians and visit again for the next blog around the South of Italy.
Great place with incredible atmosphere.
Lovely photos, and what an amazing place to spend time. The whole of Italy always feels like a tourist destination, and there's always something interesting, wherever you go. Thanks for sharing :-)
