I'm no photographer, but I enjoy and appreciate the art of taking good photos.

My partner (pictured) on the other hand is amazing. So she's been teaching me things about framing and light that I never had any idea about.

This was a rare moment where I took a photo that captured something — not something I am usually able to do.

We were walking along Gertrude St in the hip inner Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy, and she saw this cage/nest/bed thingy, and rushed into the store and flopped herself into it. I managed to capture her in this child-like, dreamy moment where she was experiencing the bliss of this thing, while in the middle of a busy designer furniture store.

She is the most amazing woman in the world, and certainly in my life. I love this photo, as I feel it truly captures her grace and splendour.
