Maternity leave activities | Mutterschutzaktivitäten [EN/DE]

Dear Steemians!
Sorry for being inactive for so long and for interrupting my California travel series (going to pick up the thread as soon as I can!). I´m taking my maternity leave for few weeks now. For those of you who don´t know what it is: in Germany you´re supposed to stop working 6 weeks before you´re giving birth to your baby. Which is great, because as a mother-to-be you actually need to rest a lot to save energy for that very special day. However, I´m not resting much.

Es tut mir leid, dass ich so lange inaktiv war und meine Kalifornien-Serie unterbrochen habe (ich werde sie fortführen, sobald ich kann!). Ich bin jetzt seit ein paar Wochen im Mutterschutz, ich schätze die meisten von euch wissen, was das ist: Nämlich, dass man sechs Wochen vor der Geburt des Babies nicht mehr arbeiten gehen darf. Das ist großartig, denn als werdende Mutter muss man sich tatsächlich viel ausruhen, um Energie für diesen ganz besonderen Tag zu sparen. Ich ruhe mich jedoch kaum aus.

First I wanted to share these pictures with you. A friend of mine, another mother and hobby photographer went to the local lake with me to take them of me. I´m very grateful for that because I didn´t manage taking much pictures of my pregnancy this time. I hope you like them! It was freezing cold and this was the second time in my life I've worn this dress... the first time was at my wedding.
Zuerst einmal wollte ich euch diese Bilder zeigen. Eine Freundin von mir, Hobbyfotografin und auch Mutter, ist mit mir zum örtlichen See gefahren, um mit mir dieses Shooting zu machen. Dafür bin ich sehr dankbar, weil ich diesmal nicht viele Bilder von meiner Schwangerschaft habe. Ich hoffe sie gefallen euch! Es war eiskalt und es war das genau zweite Mal in meinem Leben, dass ich dieses Kleid getragen habe ... das erste Mal war bei meiner Hochzeit.

The second big project these days is a cooperation with my husband @michaeldietrich called "Der Kleine Löwe" - The little lion. Years ago, he wrote this lullaby for our first daughter and now he finally managed to record it. I only wanted to make a little animated video for the song, but the project grew bigger and bigger.
Das zweite große Projekt momentan ist eine Kooperation mit meinem Mann @michaeldietrich namens "Der Kleine Löwe". Vor Jahren hat er dieses Schlaflied für unsere erste Tochter geschrieben und nun hat er es endlich geschafft, es aufzunehmen. Ich wollte nur ein kleines animiertes Video für den Song machen, aber das Projekt wurde immer größer.

Instead of not working (because you know - saving energy and stuff), we also made a little book (excitingly waiting for the print), a CD (also waiting), a whole marketing campaign, a website, distributing the music on Spotify and other streaming providers.... and at the moment we´re still looking for an appropriate online shop to sell the book and the cd. Tomorrow there´s the official release of the whole video and if you guys are interested, please follow us on the (evil) social networks to support our project. Sorry for everybody not speaking german, it´s all german only, because so is the song :( But if you still want to support us, teach your toddlers some german, listen to really relaxing music or want to see my handmade animations, the whole video will be released on Youtube and Facebook tomorrow at 17.00 German time/CET! is released now :)
Anstatt nicht zu arbeiten (ihr wisst ja, Energie sparen udn so), haben wir auch ein kleines Buch (auf dessen Druck wir schon aufgeregt warten), eine CD (auf die wir auch schon warten), eine ganze Marketingkampagne, eine Website erstellt und die Musik auf Spotify und anderen Streaming-Anbietern verteilt .... und im Moment suchen wir noch einen geeigneten Online Shop um das Buch und die CD zu verkaufen. Morgen erscheint das komplette Video offiziell und wenn ihr interessiert seid, folgt uns bitte auf den (bösen) sozialen Netzwerken, um unser Projekt zu unterstützen. Das komplette Video wird morgen um 17.00 Uhr ist nun auf Youtube und Facebook veröffentlicht und eignet sich wirklich hervorragend für kleine Kinder zum Einschlafen und Tiere lernen!

Wundervolle Fotos. Wie gut dass du sie jetzt hast, ich habe aus beiden Schwangerschaften nicht ein einziges Bild das mich mit Babybauch zeigt.
