Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge (also called Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, 29.399469°N 110.698372°E) is a bridge located in Zhangjiajie, China, above the Wulingyuan area. The bridge, built as an attraction for tourists, is glass-bottomed and is transparent. It is the longest and tallest glass bottomed bridge in the world. The bridge, opened to the public on August 20, 2016, measures 430 metres in total length and 6 metres in breadth, and is suspended about 260 metres above the ground. The bridge spans the canyon between two mountain cliffs in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China's central Hunan province. As per the design, the bridge can carry up to 800 visitors at a time. The bridge was designed by Israeli architect Haim Dotan.

Glass panels have been incorporated into the span’s pedestrian deck. Visitors are subsequently given the illusion of striding on air some 300 metres above the ground when crossing. Those without a head for heights should probably look for other ways to cross Zhangjiajie canyon though. Slinky-yet-strong cables hold Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge in place, while steel beams support the glazed sections. Wavy handrails span along the bridge’s 430-metre length. The bridge itself narrows in the middle creating a warped, exaggerated perspective. Overall it has a subtle outline, representing, in the words of the architect, “a white bridge disappearing into the cloud”."
