Pigeon Lake
I'm sure you pretty familiar with Alberta if you follow my blog.
I'll show you a bit different view today. We expecting another snow dump in the next days and maybe this post will help to scare the winter away.
Summer is very short here but if you don't blink you may catch some.
Pigeon Lake is a big one. It's 13 km long and 6 meters deep.
When the wind picks up you can see the waves like on the sea.
You can see all existing types of water activities if you hang around for the weekend.
Summer villages are placed all around the lake.
Look at this masterpiece of the garage.
On the south side, we have a real sandy beach. Ma- Me- O Beach is the name.
And vacation grade sunsets.
Seagulls.
I hope you enjoyed the different face of Alberta.
Beautiful .. You are lucky
The place looks great for a spring break
Thanks for sharing this with us

Really its a too much pretty place. I liked it. Some days ago I'll be coming on there and enjoyed some moments and feels its really cool.
My extended family has land on pigeon lake. We go camping there during the summer. I love it...and kneeboarding :)
We have gotten a lot of snow this year too and it just snowed here yesterday (West Virginia, USA). It doesn't usually snow this late in the year here so it has been an interesting spring so far. These photos are gorgeous! I hope you are able to chase the snow away.
