Gold Mine
K-days is the main festival of the summer in Edmonton. You can find a lot of interesting stuff going on.
We visited it this week and I gathered some new material for you.
In the hidden far corner of the festival venue, away from the crowd, you can travel back in time.
Today I'll present you a piece of history of Western Canada.
The old gold mine. It's just an imitation of the real one and it only serves for the tourist and educational purpose but it's a good addition to the festival.

A primitive but efficient way to transport the dirt and sand for processing.

We are all mining for gold here on the Steem blockchain! I like the goldmine exhibit and the old tools and carts. Its just those big cartoon figures seem out of place... but still quite humorous... EUREKA!!

These type of festivals are important to remind the younger generation of how difficult life was for the older generations. Also great that trucks and mining equipment has been preserved.

Very good publication that is living history where we learn how the gold mines worked. These wagons were small wooden wagons moved manually and they transported the material along the different floors of the mines, whereas, in some occasions, in the surface, wagons of greater size, thrown by horses, linked the mines with the mills and the bridges.saludos @oldtimer
