Casa Batlló - Part III
I promised you another post about Casa Batllo. It's a four-story house with a rooftop terrace.
The terrace itself is so beautiful and complex that this will be the only topic of today's post.
The whole design of the roof represents a dragon’s spine by using tiles of different colors on one side.
A different angle.
The glass roof of the atrium. Here is one half of it and you can see the other half in the background if you look carefully.
I assume these are some kind of vents for the fresh air or maybe exhausts for used air. And an elevator.
The roof is decorated with four chimneys, that are carefully designed to prevent backdraughts.
You can have a better look in this photo.
The opposite side of the roof with a unique fence.
Brilliant.
Look at this flow.
I really don't want to spoil the master's artwork with my shallow comments. Photos speak for themselves.
We are not done yet, my friends.
Stay tuned for more.
