Portrait Photography: Woman on Train
Not posed, this one, but captured from life.
Having shot this on Ilford FP4+, I then went for a 1920s-postcard look, but I can't seem to show the grain on screen looking as nice as it is in the real print. Still, I hope you like the shot:
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful photograph, very dreamy, like a glimpse of a memory in a film reel of childhood events that plays in the mind at the blink of an eye .
Thank you!
a very nostalgic and deep photo
can u guess, what is thinking?
Yes, but only because I asked her after having taken the photo 8-).
Funny, I was going to ask if you knew the woman or if this was a candid creep-shot! ;-)
Love the picture. Very peaceful and meditative. Makes me imagine what's outside the window.
Both, actually 8-); I knew her well, also that she didn't like to be photographed. She was unaware of the camera until she heard the shutter. I then asked for permission.
Well I'm glad she said "yes!"
I was checking your blog and there are some really cool photo's. Can i use some for my cartoonizing artwork?
You can check my blog to see some examples.
Cartoonise away (except portraits). If you make huge amounts of money with them, we need to talk some more, though 8-).
I posted a cartoonizing of his Saabness.
Hope you like it.
Thank you. In the true Dutch entrepeneurial spirit i say: share and share alike.
We'll have a sitdown if it comes rolling in :-)
I'll let you know when i made something worth posting.
On another subject, i just posted a short story i made today and i'm very curious what you think about it.
If it's not too much trouble, could you take a look at it and tell me if it's any good?
Most everything you post is very likable.
Very nice post
The girl must be thinking about how her life is going on 🙂
She must be thinking about the pose for the photo...
wow really a very good post and a picture of a woman who is extraordinary
Nice photo
