Despite the heavy rains that hit our country, the temperatures rise and it is not so cold and there are more hours of daylight and ... Yes! Spring came and woke Mother Nature from her winter slumber.

This flower is probably a kind of wild rose but I could not identify with certainty.

And of course, there's this lil' insect that drinks the flowers' nectar and pollinates it along the way.

These photos were taken on my and @simba 's first "run" to the Carmel Mountains
