This is a short story about drawing the very first picture with oil paintings using the method of right hemisphere painting.

I always thought that learning to draw takes a very long time to learn. Also I thought - if you didn't learned it in childhood it becomes many times more difficult.

But one day my friend went into the art studio and came back with a beautiful oil painted picture. She had never painted with oil colours before. The picture was beautiful. And I were shoked! :) This was the method of the right hemisphere painting.

Painting was one of my biggest dreams. So I decided to try it too!

My mind didn't believed that I could draw something. I've never painted with oil coloures before (only a little with colour pencils, didn't know anything about colours, the rules of drawing and so on). But great desire, enthusiasm and scientific interest won. I heard about functions of righ hemisphere of the brain in terms of neurophysiology, neurosurgery and a little in terms of psychology. But in practice? How will it be?

This experience was very interesting!

We draw a picture of famous artist and did it rather fast. Our teacher told us everything what we should do - how to make a sketch, how to hold a brush and paint with it, what colours to take and so on. Music played. Tea and talking during the break. And in 4 hours we finished our pictures!

I had a feeling that a miracle happened! It was very inspiring experience! Everyone got wonderful pictures!

And our teacher said - everyone can draw and everyone is talanted. All pictures were beautiful but different! Because each person was unique! Now I agree with it too! :) And of course it takes a long time to learn to draw very beautiful and professionally. But still - it takes much more less time than doing it in usual way.

So you can try this method too - and you could be surprised with a talent hidden in you! :))
