The Belogradchik Rocks amaizing place
The Belogradchik Rocks are rock figures, up to 200 m high, located in the Western Fore-Balkan, near the town of Belogradchik. The rocks range in color from pure red to yellow. Many rocks have fantastic shapes and are included in interesting legends. They are often referred to as people or objects that resemble or remind them. Belogradchik rocks are listed as natural landmarks by the Bulgarian government and are the main tourist attraction in the region.Form a band 30 km long and 3 km wide. They are included in the list of 100 National Tourist Sites. Belogradchik rocks consist of three rock groups. They were declared a natural landmark in 1949.
