The Single Action

  I have a deep and abiding interest in American history. Like most people I tend to collect old relics of the past from simpler time because I love the craftsman ship. My favorite period in American history starts from with the westward expansion of America shortly after the Civil War through the early 1900's. I decided to shoot a still life of some of my favorite pieces, and this was the result. I used a Nikon D200 with a 17-35mm lens. I used Adobe CS4 to post process and the open source HDR software Luminance. I genuinely hope you enjoy my work!
