This beautiful daylily is one of many starting to bloom in our landscape. I try to take my photo challenge photos on the day of the challenge, so this was taken today on my Samsung Galaxy S6.

Great shot!! I would like to suggest a few tips!!

Try getting your audience more into your post but writing more about it! You could write about the color red or the flower!!

Ask your readers a few questions like do you like the color red? Have you ever seen this flower?

@nba05 Steemit's 13 Year Old blogger

I am really curious, you are 13 for real? This is pretty good advice @nba05, I try to wright more most of the time, but sometimes don't do as good. Sometimes I wonder if anyone even reads what I write, so thanks for taking your time to do that, and comment.

Well first of all yes I'm 13!! Here is my introduction for proof! Well I read them so you can count me!!

I appreciate that @nba05. I will try and do better with my writing.

Great phone shot. Cellphone cameras have come so far since we had flip phones.

They sure have. I am amazed sometimes at the quality of the images. This one in my opinion is only so so, but wanted to submit something today. Plus, i just figured out how to post photos directly from my phone, so been testing it out some.

What an absolutely stunning flower picture! I can't say that I've actually seen any of these growing anywhere near me before (at least not that I've noticed), but this is a wonderful example of summer beauty! Was this photo taken from a flower growing in your own garden?

Followed!!

@mikewong, yes this flower is growing in my garden. This is a variety of Daylily. Each bloom only lasts for one day, hence the name daylily. But each plant is loaded with new blooms so there are new ones opening every day. I have many differnt colors and varieties of daylily in my landscape. I also hybridize or cross pollinate these sometimes to create new varieties.
