Journey towards breathtaking view of Wineglass Bay
Paranomic view of Wineglass Bay, Tasmania
Such a rewarding view from the top of Mount Amos after a 1.5 hours of challenging climb up the rocks. The climb is definitely not for the weak as you will be facing steep incline of close to 150 degrees (May not be an accurate estimation but it felt like it was THAT steep) up the gigantic rocks.
The start of the journey was pretty relaxing for about 20 minutes until you see the giagantic rocks right in front of you. There are yellow markers along the way to guise you up to the peak.
You can see how steep it is and it is definitely not a good idea to climb during/after wet weather as the rocks are EXTREMELY slippery.
You have to be ready to get on all fours to climb up to the top. It's a great experience for people who enjoy exploring and climbing.
This is the breath taking view of Wineglass Bay when you finally reach the top of Mount Amos. Give yourself some time to enjoy the view while breathing in one of the freshest air in the world
(Fun fact: Tasmania has the cleanest air in the world)
If you think that climbing up is tough, the way down is even tougher as you may have to do some butt sliding.
Tip: Will be good to wear comfortable pants and maybe gloves (if you want to prevent abrasion on your hands)
It is a long way downnnnn
Take a break as and when and enjoy the scenery on your way down. You deserve it. Have to really watch your steps while going down and will be important to find a good grip to prevent falling.
I would say this was definitely one of the highlights of my trip in Tasmania 💙💚💛💜❤
