Anopheles mosquito

Anopheles mosquito is one of the insects that has two scaly wings, a slim body, and six feet long. Some species of mosquitoes can cause various diseases.

One of them is the anopheles mosquito. Around the world, there are 460 known species of Anopheles mosquitoes. But only 100 of them can transmit malaria.

In Asia alone there are 25 species of anopheles mosquitoes that have the ability to transmit malaria disease. With the huge number of species of anopheles mosquitoes, it is not impossible that Indonesia is vulnerable to the spread of malaria.
