Coal is used as fuel, particularly in brick kilns. When bricks are fired using coal, the process becomes more efficient, which is why coal is an essential component in brick production.
Coal is primarily required in brick kilns during the firing process. When raw bricks are ready to be fired, trucks transport coal from the source to the kiln. Once delivered, the coal is stored at the site and later used to ignite the fire for baking the bricks.
It can be said that coal is a crucial element for brick kilns. Coal has a distinct, solid, black appearance. When delivered to the kilns, it is first unloaded and stored in an open space. Depending on daily requirements, the necessary amount of coal is taken from storage for use in the kiln.
Today, when I visited a kiln, I noticed that a large quantity of coal had been gathered in one place, ready to be used for firing the bricks.
