Welcome

Whenever I go out to get lunch in the afternoon during work, I would pass by this house - nothing too special, just an ordinary-looking house along the street.

A few weeks ago, as I was cycling past the house, I noticed that there was a cat sitting by the window, looking outside and enjoying the view. I got off my bike to take a closer look at the cat, at which point the owner, an elderly woman who happened to be around the door, came by and chatted with me.

After a 30-minute chat and showing me various photographs of her cats, we parted as I had to get my lunch and head back to work soon. I asked if I could drop by again some other day to take a few shots of her cats, and she welcomed me warmly to do so.

So fast forward a week or so, during one of the days where I had a longer break, I grabbed my camera and headed over to the house to snap a few shots of the cat. 

This shot was taken the moment I had entered the house - she was just sitting beside the door ready to welcome me for her photoshoot!
