La Push Beach and Strawberry Falls, Washington
We made it to Washington last Friday and we found out early Saturday morning that @haileyscomet's grandfather had passed away. So to get away we rented a hotel room at a place that had its own private hot spring fed hot tubs on the balcony of some of the suite rooms, and Hailey had a chance to really unwind. We then hit the beach yesterday so we could get some more nature therapy. Also, Hailey is a huge Twilight fan, and La Push beach and the town of Forks are in the book, so that was cool to get to take her there, though it was mostly silly stuff like 'beware of Vampire signs'.
We went to Third Beach, which has the longest hike but the least people and features a waterfall you can see on the cliffs and feeds into the ocean. I would for sure suggest this place if you are going to the area! It is a bit hard to see in my photos, but look for it, the falls are there! This was a pretty easy 2.6 mile hike to the beach that features beautiful rain forest type environment and another half mile or so to the end where you can see the falls.
We also found the remains from a mud or land slide that came onto the beach. See the photos below:

Isn’t La Push just the best! Don’t forget to head north and take a look at the lighthouse. I am gonna have to do a post from my time at La Push, thanks for reminding me about that great trip! @mickeybeaves
I love Cape Flattery!
Hi thank you for sharing, I have a Twilight fan
