5 Haqqani militants killed in airstrikes in Afghanistan
Five Afghan militants of the Haqqani group were killed in an air strike by the Afghan Air Force in East Pakistan's province of Paktika. The country's defense ministry said on Wednesday.

A statement in the ministry said that the attack was carried out after ensuring militant presence in a remote area of Gomal district.
This Haqqani network is a strong section related to the Taliban militant group.
