Trip to the Houston zoo and the science museum

While I was in Houston we went to the Houston zoo and to the science museum. In the zoo we went to the new bug place where they have big fake bugs. It was kind of interesting. But one thing is for sure, thank god that bugs are not that big.

We also fed the giraffe and looked at flamingos.

We really wanted to see the bird section of the zoo, but it was closed because they are making an area where they will have crocodiles. So we went to the reptile section. They had a lot of lizards and snakes and frogs.

Because it was very hot that day we decided that we should go to the science museum to cool off. The science museum was cool. They had a lot of pretty butterflies and they even had 3 spiders.

After 2 days we returned to the science museum. We went to the energy section where we could see how they get oil and what kind of machines they use for digging and locating oil. We also had a look at the mineral section. And then we went into a big safe where they had very expensive rocks. My favourite part of the science museum visit was the movie about the ocean. It was very interesting and I really enjoyed it.
