NY experience #1 - World Trade Center
Five years ago I made the travel of my dreams. Since I was a teenager I was in love with NY. I don't know the reason but I needed to go there someday. Many times when you are longing for something so much later it is not what you expected. I had a bit of that fear but I only had to see Manhattan from the taxi and I still fell in love a lot more.
One of the places I needed to go to was the World Trade Center because the 11S attacks hit me a lot. I can not describe what I felt when I was there, right in the ground zero. I share with you my visual memories:
My emotions overflowed, I was there, right on the ground zero contemplating the monument to the memory of the victims.
At that time they are building the Freedom Tower: majestic, impressive...
Today, when I see the photographs, I can still feel all those indescribable things I felt there, looking at the waterfalls of the 2 two fallen towers and caressing the written names of the victims.
I will return, because I want to fall in love with NY even more..
