Prelude to summer
On this warm and sunny Sunday in April, I took my camera for a walk.
The Nieuwe Mark is a recent reconstruction of the old harbour in the centre of Breda.
Valkenberg was a garden that belonged to the Castle of Breda. Today it is a public park. With obligatory tulips, of course.
One of the few remaining parts of the old defences of the city that are still visible. The Castle of Breda belonged to the Royal Family of the Netherlands. Now it is home to the Military Academy.
I used a Nikon D700 with 28 mm and 50 mm prime-lenses. The photos where shot in raw and edited with Darktable. If you like my pictures, I invite you to visit my Flickr profile
