It was a busy week but I felt I absolutely had to publish a new post, so today we take a look at another Chinese Yuan denomination: the 10 Yuan banknote.
People's Republic of China - 10 Yuan Banknote - Obverse
The obverse of this note shows a portrait of Mao Zedong and the reverse reveals the famous Three Gorges. The Three Gorges are: the Qutang Gorge, the Wu Gorge and the Xiling Gorge.

People's Republic of China - 10 Yuan Banknote - Reverse
This banknote was issued from 1999. The paper denominations are 100, 50, 20, 10, 5, 1 yuan; 5, 2 and 1 jiao; and 5, 2 and 1 fen.

This is very inciteful @marlon6. I'm currently in Shanghai and see these notes weekly (since there's WeChat and AliPay) yet I have had no idea what they represent..
oh I've never been in Shanghai but I was many times in Shenzen and Canton. I always played with the idea of doing something like this :)

Obviously, the 10 yuan you issued is not old money, the old money is a two-person head, I am Chinese, this is the real old 10 yuan. !
